To truly master a word you need to use it in multiple ways; only then does it become part of your vocabulary. Below are ways you can work with vocabulary. Remember that not all of these will work for your learning style - when studying it is important to note which study habits were effective.
Word Work!
As you learn new vocabulary you should always be assessing your mastery. Below are ways to assess your understanding of the terms and also ways to practice the terms you are struggling with. If you want to earn credit back on past tests for missed definitions you can pick TWO different Word Work options from the list below for each missed word. For example, if you missed don on the Vocabulary 3 test you would need to pick two different ways to work with that word from the list below and hand it in Friday before the next quiz.
